What a great addition to the area. Service is great. Good variety of traditional and custom ice cream flavors. Ice cream is made in house and is definitely premium. My milk shake was smooth and creamy with great flavor - peanut butter bourbon. Udderly Delicious! ????. I did not try their cookies but they look amazingly good - also made in house. My son had the chocolate milkshake and said it was one of the best shakes he has had.
A very nice young lady quickly offered me the chance to sample - and I found many suitable options. Whenever there's butter brickle, it will go in my bowl! Alongside for this party was the apple crisp. The ice cream was great and I am grateful they serve it with a good stiff spoon. Go there.
October 2023 review: Ice cream still delicious! We visited again on a hot day. Surprisingly the air was off (out?) The young ladies didn’t seem excited to see us, but the young man (Owner’s son?) was Amazing! Very personable and warm and asking us if we needed any samples. He was great! Young lady assisting with checkout seemed she didn’t want to be there. I still tipped. I’m sure it was just an off day. Will still frequent this shop as the ice cream is consistently good. Great customer service! Staff Greeted us when we walked in and smiled. They even asked if we wanted to get samples (even though service had suddenly picked up behind us). They were out of strawberry-I just wanted a shake but I won’t hold it against them ????. Staff also walked us through loyalty program/discounts; no attitude or rush. The ice cream: AMAZING!!!! I would give 10 stars! Only tried vanilla, but it was creamy, rich, and you could actually taste the vanilla. It was honestly the best ice cream I’ve ever had. Better than Bruster’s, DQ and even my favorite Beren’s. Our family will definitely be regulars.
Best ice cream ever! It’s very addictive once you visit once you will be hooked. My whole family loves the ice cream i can never go anywhere else for my fix.. The staff is very friendly as well even when you order via door dash.. The only problem is getting there before everybody else has taken your favorite flavor. The banana pudding is my FAVORITE. Peach comes not far behind and strawberry has entered the fight as of tonight! Every flavor is very creamy and rich!
As a big guy, you can look at me and know that I know my way around a waffle cone or two. I wouldn't call myself an expert, let's say... Aficionado. Walking into Butter'dudder, instead of the usual monotoned angst of the usual underpaid teenager you find at other establishments, we were greeted with the warmth of walking into an aunt or uncle's house that happens to serve copious amounts of frozen deliciousness. Speaking of the ice cream. They had a nice selection of unique and delicious flavors of ice cream, it was honestly difficult to choose which ones to get. Of course we took our time doing exhaustive research via tiny tasting spoons. By the way, I'm pretty sure they make their ice cream daily. The price was great, the two of us got out of there with two large cups and two baked goods (which were also delicious) for way less than most places. In conclusion, even if you live far away, it's worth the drive for their amazing ice cream. Ben & Jerry and Bruster's really can't compare. We can't wait to go back.
