My son has been going to guitar lessons with ken for about 6 months now. I think that after this time I can say with certainty that I’m glad he has Ken as his teacher. Ken has a great personality, he is engaging, and he’s fun to learn from. My son looks forward to his lesson every week and I love this because with other instruments/teachers I always had to be the one pushing him to go to music lessons. Having class at the same time with other students also helps my son a lot with learning how to actually play like he was in a band. I also love how Ken takes my concerns and plans for my son into account and tries to incorporate those in the learning process. My only regret is not having found Ken earlier! If you’re thinking about guitar lessons, give him a try. You won’t regret it.
My daughter wanted to play and I knew nothing about guitars. Ken has not only been supportive with lessons but helpful with picking out the right guitar as well. By next week I will be done with my first full month and I absolutely love it! Both me and my sister have really advanced in just a few sessions! Not only does the instructor show us the proper way to play the chords but he also finds a way to make it easy and fun. I think a lot of people get discouraged when they have a teacher that is so strict. It takes out the fun in learning the guitar and makes it more robotical. Even learning by ourselves when we can't perform a certain chord or maybe switch chords fast enough, we get frustrated and discouraged, however, Ken really makes sure that we enjoying it every step of the way while pushing us to different levels. I instantly clicked with him after meeting him and shortly after, I asked my sister to enroll too because she had a passion that I knew that Ken would definitely ignite for her more. I was a bit nervous to be taking lessons since I am 20 years old now but he assured me that age was not a factor. I am honestly am so excited for many more months of learning and rocking out! BEST DECISION I HAVE EVER MADE! 10 STARS!!
