This place was packed! This was my 1st time and the place made you feel like you were in the good ol' days. The music they played was oldies but goodies. And such a wonderful variety of food. The waitresses were so pleasant. Food was awesome.
The food and atmosphere was so good that I ordered more food than I could eat. I wanted to try everything. Love this gem of a find. If you are coming through Social Circle than I recommend stopping here. I also purchased a long sleeve shirt as a souvenir.
Beyond impressed with this experience! All around friendly staff. Our server Rachel was quick, kind, and efficient. Food was excellent and worth every penny. The restaurant was clean and in excellent condition (bathrooms included). From our view, the kitchen was super clean and well kept. Kitchen staff switched gloves between tasks which is a huge green flag! Cannot wait to return!
Stopped in one day to try it out and fell in "love" with several of the items. We try to go at least once a week. I love their potato soup, hushpuppies (they are right out of the fryer--hot and crispy); blue plate special of country fried steak with gravy, mashed potatoes and gravy and their fantastic fried okra..yum yum. Oh, and by the way they have some great appetizers..we like the fried green beans with ranch or other dipping sauces. So far everything we have tried has been cooked to order and delicious. All of the staff are very pleasant and ready to greet you and make you feel right-at-home. Once you go a couple of times they seem to know you and what you might want
Excellent food, atmosphere and friendly service. The food is a variety but don't expect a 7 course meal. This is a diner with that same sort of food. Get to the desert, the peach cobbler a la mode is out of this world and a large serving perfect for two people. Only drawback is the food service is a bit slow I believe because they look to have a small kitchen. But is is by far the best bet in Social Circle.
