This year we ordered our Christmas turkey dinner from the Publix deli, thinking we’d have less work to do, plus leftovers for a whole week! Unfortunately, it didn’t work out that way. The dinner includes a 10-12 lb. Butterball fully cooked turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes, gravy, marshmallow delight and cranberry orange relish. When we got home and unloaded the box, we were disappointed to discover that there was NO marshmallow delight. There were 2 containers of cranberry orange relish instead, both of which had stickers saying “USE BY 12/27.” The container of gravy also said to “USE BY 12/27.” The potatoes were very watery and had a sticker that said “SELL BY 12/24”. The holiday dressing was cornbread dressing which looked like something the cat barfed up! It also had a large pool of water in the container and a sticker that said “SELL BY 12/24.” I wish I had checked the label on the turkey, as it was probably also expiring! BTW, 12/24 is the day that we picked up our order! This turkey dinner is certainly not worth $64.99! We will NEVER order another holiday meal from the Publix deli!
Love the floral department. Many people don't know but you can request for your flowers to get rewrapped which is a complimentary service offered by Publix and all major grocery stores. Ms. Diana did a beautiful job with my two bouquets.
I'd just like to say I've only ordered 1 or 3 subs so far and Margarite has exceeded expectations. I'm in line leaving this review because her personality has brightened my day. She has given proportionate servings and also wiped her area between subs which makes me feel other conditions are sanitary. I just loved our interaction, please give her a raise. I hope if I ever come back, I'm lucky enough to have her serve me again! I haven't even gotten my sub yet and I think it will be the best one I've ever had!
The store has good customer service, but I lowered their rating because the deli is not a pleasure. My online order is never ready and i always have to wait even longer after i arrive to the store. Two times orders not even pulled to start to make. I understand they are short staff, I can deal with that. But when you have someone wondering around and not checking to see if you even have orders has nothing to do with staff shortage. And then no sense of urgency, that is not the publix standard. Will not use the deli anymore at this location until they get some training.
